OILY BLOODMEN - Hardcore Years - EP

One of the legendary bands from the 80s Portland, Oily Bloodmen. Active between 1984-1992. They started as a hardcore punk band but later they changed their sound and marked themselves in the grunge scene as well. A strong, whirlwind hardcore 7” in the vein of “Pick Your King” and in the name of hardcore punk. You can hear some similar riffs which appear in some Poison Idea songs, no surprise because some guys played in both bands plus Slayer Hippy worked on these Oily Bloodmen songs as a producer. This 7” summarizing their hardcore years. 5 songs from their demo tape (1987), “Old Men Have To Talk Tough” and 5 unreleased tracks from an early recording.
